Goa Hotels

Below are the months that make up the high, middle, and peak seasons and what you can expect from Goa accommodations during a specific season:

High/Peak Season

The month of December, specifically mid-December up to the last week of January, is considered peak season in Goa. During this time, you have to make sure that you have booked a room in one of the Goa hotels prior to your arrival. If you try to make room reservations only upon arrival during the high season, expect to be sleeping on the ground, or paying absolutely more than the usual rates.

Middle and Low Season

The following months: February – June, and October – mid December make up Goa’s middle season. July – September, on the other hand, comprise the low season in Goa. If you are on a tight budget, it is best to book a room during the low season when, more often than not, room rates are slashed off by 50% or more.

Whether it’s peak, middle, or low season, the rule of thumb in reserving rooms in Goa hotels is this: the greater the number of days that you stay, the cheaper you’ll be able to get the room rate per day.
